This small collection is inspired by the Victorian tradition of Christmas ghost stories. Telling spooky tales on the long, dark winter nights was a popular pastime in the Victorian era, and many writers of the time popularized the Christmas ghost story tradition that has since faded like a spirit itself.

I will be summoning those specters, as well as working with a mix of winter folklore, such as the legend of the Yule Cat. Expect to see silver spirits, evergreens, pomegranates, giant cats, winter treats, and sparkly winter stars!

As autumn shifts toward the darker months and begins its transition into winter, the fiery colors of early autumn give way into muted tones. Time itself feels uncertain during this seasonal shift; there is something in the atmosphere that feels eeriely in-between. Welcome to the linimal meeting point of these two seasons, a gateway from one to the next.

This mini collection celebrates this liminal time with stones holding patterns reminiscent of bare tree branches, darkened skies, and bones laying amongst the fallen leaves.
